Before you start using Terah, you must read the terms and conditions in their entirety carefully. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions in their entirety, you should not register. By registering, the User expressly subscribes to these terms and conditions. Terah. is a simple and effective software that supports the correct use of medication by users. (User). The User finds in this application a solution where, by simply scanning the drug's barcode, they receive information on how and when to take a particular drug according to pharmacotherapeutic recommendations and through notifications issued by the application. In addition to providing this primary information, it also allows analyzing the therapy the user is undertaking and interpreting the concomitant integration of several drugs. Terah also allows Users, after registering in the application, to simply and securely grant access to their account to external users, such as healthcare professionals or informal caregivers. All information contained in the Application is intended exclusively for private use, prohibiting its use for commercial purposes. Furthermore, the information provided DOES NOT CONSTITUTE, regardless of its form, advice, recommendation for purchase, sale, contracting, or PRESCRIPTION, and does not dispense with recourse to healthcare professionals in case of need. The Company is not responsible for any direct or indirect material or personal damages or losses that may result from the use of the information provided by reading Drug Codes, with the User being solely and exclusively responsible for all decisions made based on this information. If you have questions regarding our terms and conditions, you can contact us through our (contact form at www.terah.app). The terms and conditions may be changed at any time. Therefore, we advise you to read the Terms and Conditions periodically.
2. User registration in the application
To start using the Application, the User can register by entering only their phone number. Regardless of registration, the user can use the application anonymously, without registering, but all data will be forgotten when they log out of the application.
3. Features
3.1 Add a drug
To add a drug to their therapy, the User must scan the drug's barcode. If unable to scan the drug's code, the User can search for the name directly in the Database available in the Application. If still unable to add the drug to their therapy, they can report the missing medication directly to support within the App itself.
3.2 Therapeutic Indication
After the user adds a drug, they immediately receive information about the therapeutic indication, dosage, daily doses, times, and recommendation for administration when applicable. It is important to note that the information transmitted refers to the most common situations and treatments, precisely to facilitate User adherence to therapy. At no time should this be considered a prescription because it does not consider the individual situation of each user. Next, the User is asked to confirm the different points, because once confirmed, the Application manages the doses, triggering alarms and notifications (according to the User's choice) at the defined times, reminding of doses and reinforcing recommendations (for example, if to be taken on an empty stomach).
3.3 Manage Notification
In the notification/alarm generated for taking a drug, the User may mark it with the following characteristics: Taken, Postpone or Ignore.
3.4 Therapy Management
The integral part of therapy management is related to interactions or duplications. Thus, the Application reads the added drugs and cross-references them with active drugs. Should it identify an overlap, i.e., drugs for the same purpose, it provides the User with this information and allows them to, with a simple click, set this drug to start after the end of the already active drug for the same purpose. Should an interaction between an active drug and another that the user intends to add be well-founded in scientific literature and cause a decrease in therapeutic effect, and only in the event that spacing between these two medications or additional protective measures are advisable (e.g., for contraceptives), this information is transmitted to the User. In case of doubt about any of these technical/scientific points transmitted, the User should consult a doctor or pharmacist or consult the drug's Package Leaflet.
3.5 Biochemical Parameters
The Application has a field for health data. In this field, if the user wishes, they can update the following data:
  • Weight
  • Height
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • BMI (automatically calculated)
  • Cholesterol
  • Blood pressure
  • Triglycerides
  • Glycated hemoglobin
  • Hemoglobin
  • Uric acid
In the Application, Web version, it is also possible to view and consult the history of this data, as well as the time they have taken medication (which they click on Taken).
3.6 Account sharing with healthcare professional / informal caregiver
Terah allows the User, in a simple but secure way, to grant access to their account to a healthcare professional so that they can view the active therapy and immediately implement the dosage according to their indications or their doctor's indications. To share the account, the User should go to the Users field and click on Share Account (indicate) where a code in QR Code format is generated, which, when provided, allows another user to access. Alternatively, through the registered contact, an external user can enter the contact number and access remotely. This access also allows, for example, informal caregivers to monitor the therapy and help the user carry out their treatment correctly.
3.7 Integration with the Pharmacy
Terah allows the User, in a simple way, to directly receive the medications they purchased at the Pharmacy in their application with the recommendations given by the doctor in the prescription. Furthermore, the generation of dose alert notifications will be programmed according to the dosage indicated by the prescriber in the prescription, and the user will only need to activate them for their generation to begin. To activate this functionality, you must, at a participating Pharmacy, request the activation of the service. To effect this activation, after expressing this intention, you will receive an SMS containing a 4-digit code. By sharing this code with the Pharmacy, you accept the sharing of information between the Pharmacy and Terah and the consent will remain active until you request its deactivation. Additionally, the user can submit an order for various products directly to the Pharmacy. The Pharmacy can thus, in a completely remote manner, prepare your order, making it available for pick-up at the Pharmacy or for home delivery, if possible, respecting the restrictions of current legislation.
